Euro S50B32 SC + 6 spd gearbox, total E30 drop in package

    Hi all,

I have for sale an S50B32 engine with a supercharger and watercooled intake. Was running it in my E30 M3.

The only reason for sale is that I have decided to put an S85 in the car, now going through a bare shell restoration.

The engine is partly disassembled at the moment, taken out of the car in 2012. It blew a headgasket that was most likely not torqued properly down (MLS and ARP studs). I started ripping it down in anticipation for major detailing before assembly and going in the M3 again. Then the S85 virus got the better of me & I stopped working on the S50. A mate was going to buy it but has not gone through with the deal - so now the package is for sale.

    SPECS:
    Euro S50B32
ASA supercharger, (bought new in 2008 )
Watercooled intake + radiators/hoses/pump for it.
    CP 8.5:1 forged pistons
Carillo Rods (new, never used - stock rods currently installed)
    RC injectors 550cc
    Stock headers
Vanos has overhauled by Dr. Vanos in 2010 and very few km on it.
Stock ECU mapped for the SC
(would recommend a standalone ECU like the DTA S100 or VEMS for flexibility)
    Oil cooler included.
    6 speed euro gearbox.
    Driveshaft included.
Racelogic traction control with the digital adjuster included (hooked up to the loom)

Total drop in package for E30 - radiator and motor mounts included also.

Also an easy install into an E36 of course.

I haven´t dynoed the engine but at .85 bar it is in the 450-500hp range and the
car was stupid fast and fun to drive

Needs a new clutch, has Sachs racing clutch that is slipping.

Dry sump system not included so buyer would have to source an oil pump and pan.

Price for the whole package is USD 11.500.

The items are located in Iceland, I will split the shipping with a buyer.

Lots of info and pics regarding the engine can be found in these threads:

Cool.. then you can inspect the stuff in person if I haven´t sold it by then.... then we figure out cheap shipping :D

PS. The shop in the top pic is not mine! That is Tauber Motorsport in Germany & their gorgeous M1.

Just to be clear, there is NO DAMAGE to the engine from the headgasket failure.
