SOLD
I bought it here 3 years ago and it's come to time to sell it here. For sale is a lightly used but cared for e30 convertible hardtop. Overall condition is good and it is an eye catcher, I have gotten a ton of comments on the looks of it on my 93 Lagoon iC.
The previous owner had the rear window replaced, so the window is almost brand new but is missing the small black trim that encircles the window. Not noticeable at all and honestly i like the look of it. Looks sharp.
The hard fabric on the exterior is in great with some expected wear of a 20+ year old hardtop. There are a couple blemishes and scuffs here and there. The black rails along the top are in great condition and look fresh. All gaskets and rubbers on it are in good shape, we rubber and gasket treated them when we got it.
As for the interior of the top, the headliner is sagging in most places except for a couple spots here and there and the leather from the front panel is a little loose, both of which you can see in the pics. All handles are clean and solid. The window defroster works great too, this being a common downfall in most roofs with old windows.
The PO lost the stock mounting bolts for it, so I used a simple set of screws and nuts with some tubing to hold it in place and it works fine (all of which will be included in sale). That being said, new mounting pins are available new from various placed if you should want it to mount it up like stock.
The roof is available for pick up in Burlington, VT but I am willing to drive 3 or 4 hours or so to meet anyone who is interested. For now I am going to say no shipping for obvious reason (large, heavy, relatively fragile, etc...) but that may change if I get no local interest.
Ide like get $750 for it but I'm open to offers, I know nice ones go for three or four hundred over a grand, so I think $750 is pretty reasonable for what it is.
Thanks for looking, PM with any interest or question. I do have some more pictures of specific things too if anyone wants to see more, send me your email address and what you want to see in that case.
