I am interested. Wondering if it uses the same holes as the MTECH I spoiler..hopefully it should.

Is it the flexible rubber? or hard plastic? I haven't seen one in person.

It's hard plastic. It doesn't use the "is" spoiler holes. Idk about mtech1 holes.

What mine is flexible rubber. Does not use same holes as is spoiler. Either have to drill or use 3m tape.

Really? How flexible? Mine is pretty hard, and the BBS spoiler is too (heyooooo). It flexes a bit, but it's largely firm.

Someone asked me about the mounting holes. I never used it and always had just planned on usingdouble stick tape to attach it to avoid drilling my decklid. Anyway i am gonna check them closely tomorrow and post pics. And for those who wanna know how its mounted LJ851 sent me this link. Thanks LJ.

So I checked out the holes this morning. Its been tapped into with other screws for sure in a few places. I can only see two threaded anchors in the middle two holes. Not sure but it doesnt look like any of the other holes has anchors or was even made with them in so not sure. Here are the pics of the underside.

Bump for a killer spoiler, and here's some pics of mine - which will hopefully help out with the sale!

Rare spoiler that is a flexible rubber material.

I adhered mine with some heavy duty double sided tape - so far so good.

                      GLWS!

So as someone pointed out to me this spoiler doesnt look like the one that e30brah posted. So I started digging. Here is a copy of a thread I started in the appearance section. Maybe someone can help me out. Again I was told this was for and came off of an e30 but doesnt appear to be the case or if it is something screwy is about.

Ok guys I have a spoiler I am trying to sell on the forum but as another member pointed out it isnt the typical e30 bbs spoiler. I am having trouble figuring out what it is. There doesnt seem to be a part number and I am guessing it was sanded off at some point. The person I got it from says it came off an e30. I have pics holding it up to my e30 as well as taped onto a spare e30 decklid. Does look quite good on an e30, sort of like a less aggressive mtech1. Anyway here are the main points.

                            1. It does appear to be genuine BBS as it has the proper BBS relieved/raised stamp in it on the top side.

                            2. No part number but I am not sure where it would be anyway? Hiding under the double stick tape?

                            3. It does not look to have ever been spliced to be short but may have been cut and modified on the ends. It fits the width of the decklid perfectly. If you look at the pics it looks like some of the side areas were shaved out then molded with epoxy to form the side edges. I cant tell if thats how its supposed to be or not but im guessing not?

                            4. If number three is the case what the hell car did it come off of. I spent the last 2 hours google image searching every goddamn bmw BBS spoiler up to the e30 (e12, e24, e21 you name it) and nothing even looks like it is a candidate to modify to look like this.

                            5. It looks like it doesnt fit well with two humps on either side but when I press conform it to the decklid it looks great. It is rubberish type material so it lays down nice and flat on the decklid.

It look like the PO trimmed the two end, or it could be for e21.
