I have the s52 out of my car right now doing some rust repair in the firewall. I'm considering selling it if I can get what I want for it and then putting an s54 in the car.
I was told it is out of a 99' m3 with 80k miles.
Motor has shrick cams, m50 manifold, stainless headers, injectors. Was told head was rebuilt 10k miles ago.
I have the motor, ecu, wiring harness (modified for e30), motor mounts and everything else you will need to drop directly in an e30. I'm keeping the trans though.
Unfortunately I don't really have any records on the engine. I can tell you it pulled strong and I will make some sort of guarantee with the sale that it is a good motor cause I have no way to demonstrate as it is out of the car. I could put you in touch with the previous owner and shop that did the swap and built the motor (azevedo motorsports in nj) for reassurances.
Priced at $3000 obo picked up in Houston.
