I wanted the alpina fabric first so that will be made next. We are thinking that the mtech fabric will come in the 4th quarter of this year. I should be getting my alpina fabric in a month or so after that the mtech fabric process begins.

              As far as shipping

Why not ship in tubes? Should be less than $50, but maybe I am wrong

well material is 160cm wide so package is classified as oversize. I don't think this will be cheeper option.

Anyway if anyone would be intrested in prototype M rain style woven fabric let me know or contact Graham O'neill- BimmerBreaker@gmail.com
This is prototype material what we made to set machine so ther will be not more in future like this. Fabric will be send direct from US so postage should be not a problem. We have 80yards in total.
Colors are bit different than OEM especially gray other colors are almost perfect. Also ther is one mistake in design but very hard to note that.

We can applay thin foam and make it as hedliner material or normal 3-4mm foam for seats.

The rain pattern pictured next to the Alpina fabric does not appear to be the same as either the pictured seat base or vaders. It looks good, but it does not follow the exact same pattern as oem by the looks of it..

I would be happy if somebody would reproduce perfect Uberkaro in tan.. :)

I'm getting a few e-mails about this so wanted to post up about the M rain. It is not ready quite yet, you can contact me through here or the e-mail Nojser supplied (My username @ gmail.com) to let me know if you are interested and I will get in touch once fabric is ready.

Just to clarify I currently have no intention of selling the prototype fabric. I will likely be turning all of it into accessories - wallets, keychains, lanyards, etc...

The fabric pictured there is the prototype version and the final version will be a bit closer but still not 100%. The main difference is some colors are off and the red and purple colors are switched. These things will be fixed on the final run. Overall design though should be the same, if you notice any glaring differences please let me know.

Uberkaro is a fabric I really like personally and would love to see it come to life in gray and tan. But at least for me at the moment, I am focusing on other (mostly M-based) fabrics I want to see first, the first of which will be the E36 M rain.

I don't wish to derail Nosjer's thread about the Alpina fabric though. I've bought a few things from Nojser before and rest assured he is a stand up guy with good standing in the BMW community (he's got an awesome 8 series too!). I've seen samples of the Alpina fabric and it is indeed a quality product, I really don't think the pictures do it justice.

Thank you, I was struggling to see exactly what was a little off but that is exactly it. If you get those swapped out this will be nearly perfect. Nice job..
