Feeler: Recaro SRD Lemans (Confetti) Trade

    Hello everyone!

I have an awesome set of Recaro SRD's up for sale. They are the sought after Lemans pattern, better known as "confetti" that came as an option in the Japanese mk4 Toyota supra's. I purchased these seats a while back through an ebay vendor who purchases them off of the Japanese Yahoo auctions and then sells them worldwide. These seats are in a very nice condition, especially for what they are. It's quite hard to come by a set of SRD's without any bolster sag and with this pattern. Personally, I feel it suits the e30 very well and is period correct. The bolsters hold you in amazingly in the twisties, while being daily-able with all the comforts of a stock seat and the benefits of a bucket.

I would rate these seats a 8/10 considering their age. There is no bolster sag, however there is a little bit of rippling in the center portion of the seats that can probably be fixed (not very familiar with the process but I've seen it done before). They still have a rich black color and aren't faded. All reclining and folding mechanisms work properly and move with ease.

The seats are mounted to my e30 with massive adapters. Utilizing a factory slider on the passenger side and a floor mount for extra low on the driver side, however it can be mounted to a slider for more usability.
These seats go for well over a thousand dollars on ebay and only come up once in a while, plus the 3 month wait time! The massive brackets cost me $240...

I live in the Bay Area and would prefer a local deal, however I'd be willing to ship if the other party covers shipping.

Since it's mandatory to set a price, I'll place these at $1300 with brackets, $1100 seats alone.

    Thanks for your time,

    Andrei

Please excuse my dirty carpet. Vacuum time!

Damn.. I hate that you're on the opposite coast! I have a set of Confetti fabric LS's I would consider trading towards the SRD's, but with shipping the two sets, doubt it would make much sense :(

Can co firm quality. I have a set in all black from the same seller. These usually go for upwards of 1000 with 200+ for shipping at a minimum, and you can be expected to wait at least 8 weeks for delivery, I think mine took more like 11. The massive brackets are another 200 or so as well

Yup! Took exactly 3 months. I bought adapters/ brackets and floor mounts hence the $50+ to to bracket price.

From the shoulder support these appear to be Recaro Speeds; SRDs are more pointy around the shoulders, though I could be missing something.

Either way these are fantastic seats.

Sorry about that! They appeared to be srd's so I've always thought they were. I did a bit of digging and found a supra forum post from a few years back. As it turns out, these are recaro sr3's. (Same SR base and narrower shoulders), which is actually a benefit for us e30 guys since I don't think the wide shoulders would clear our doors.

As you see here a clean set went for $1300 in 2013 (without any mounts) and I'm sure the value will only go up in time due to the condition and funky awesome 90's pattern :D
