they are a bearing and rotate on a bearing, not the ghetto rotating on the shaft that is not a bearing like a sold CAB. they are free to pivot in all directions like the stock bushing but without the play that rubber gives. I was looking at Porsche track cars and all of those us monoball joins bc they react very fast and hold the car firm.
