Looking to sell a 6spd 'box from a 2002 540i.
~130xxx miles, the car drove into the dismantlers with bad timing chain guides. Tranny works fine, no input shaft wobble or output shaft leaks (a bit at the midsection joint).
This transmission will fit any M6x or S62 engine. Given it came from a M62, you will not need to drill it to fit the hall speed sensor if mating to that engine (unlike a M60 trans, which has no hole for it). You can modify the bellhousing to mate to a M7x as well. Perfect for V8 swaps! Will fit E31 840i, E32 740i, E34 530i, 540i, E39 535i, 540i, M5, E38 740i.
Looking for $600 obo+shipping. Can include shifter carrier+bearing, selector shaft, trans brace+mounts and clutch fork+spring for an extra $50. I can include an E39 driveshaft and guibo for another $80 as well.
