    wanted or for sale

I just bought a '93 525 that I'm parting out. So I have 2 choices, either I can sell the M50 or I can buy something to put it in. I like the idea of putting it in something :D

So I'm either selling a vanos M50 with the e34 oil pan already in place or I'm looking for a good shell with a bad motor. Anyone have any thing??

I don't have anything but how is the motor? How many miles and is it an auto or manual? What would be your price on the motor?

    Thanks.

Motor quit running, they thought it was the computer, but I don't know for sure. Car has just over 100k on it. It's an auto, which is actually the reason I bought it, wanted a spare tranny for the touring.

Not sure what I'd want for the motor seperate, haven't looked lately to see what they are worth. It would come complete with all accesories and the harness though.

Sorry, should have clarified, don't want a 4-door

Buy my stripped white 86 chassis.
You can build a dedicated track rat, and keep the M3 for occasional events.

Na, the M3 is the track rat. I would want this one to drive to work so I'm not putting miles on the 540.

Hmmm, there has to be some taint left on that thing from the nissan engine. Decent price for a rollng M3 though

i dunno man, you've got the whole m50 car, so you'd have almost everything to get that motor in there, and I happen to think a M50 M3 would be a great daily, plus they make sawzalls for cages....

Now that I think about it, for your tasks (A fun daily, am I right?), any regular E30 would make a better choice, cheaper parts and insurance. But I'd do a sedan :p

There was a good looking Bronzit 4 door FS near me - nice sleeper candidate for an M50 . . . .

Dunno if its still FS, though.

no, m42s are for nancy boys. 4 doors are for married folks with kids. I think you and brodee are the only two members that fit that, dave :P

My kids generally refuse to ride in the e30. "can we take mom's van or the Lexus, PUH-LEASE!!!!!"

I have enough 4-doors around here :) Plus just thinking if I want to sell it later it's going to sell better being a coupe.
