    Carbon airbox for S50B30/32 engine swap in E30

    Highly customised carbon airbox for doing S50 swaps into E30's.

    Allows you to keep the OEM booster.
    Allows you to keep ABS in OE location.

    The problem when putting a S50 carbon airbox into an E30 is the thing is designed for a bigger engine bay.
    Without a regular carbon airbox designed for E36 you need to run a smaller booster or no booster and running an external air filter of usable size is a real struggle without the ABS master. With ABS, for get it.

    This started as a 1000 euro airbox and has been extensively modified by Trackart.com.au to have a 'CSL like' filter panel placement. The actual filter is from a R36 VW Passat, and is a standard K&N panel P/N.

    With the filter inside the airbox, all you need to work about is some ducting to the airbox or a bell mouth on the airbox and job done. It is a very handy, time saving thing for a swap.

    There is quite an adequate amount of space between the filter and the intake horns, I did some looking at the spacing to a CSL type airbox for S54 and it looks pretty darn similar.

    It would cost you something like $3000 AUD to replicate this setup.

    Looking for $900 USD. Item is in AUSTRALIA so you will need to tack on postage cost to this.

      Would consider a trade on some Schrick cams for S54 or something like that.
      However, cash is king :)

                It wont fit a US M3 motor sorry. You need a motor with 6 throttle bodies.
