I have never seen these...they are rear headrests? This may be a stupid question but are these only applicable on a certain type of rear seat? Hopefully you can provide me with a little insight. Thanks!

All e30 rear seats can use the headrests. You just have to poke holes in the top and dig away a bit of the foam to access the bracket mounting points.
