I have a great condition S54 from a 101K mile E46 M3 for sale for $3900 in Rockaway, NJ.
This package includes the complete S54 engine, wiring harness, ECU, electronic throttle pedal, fuel pump and pressure regulator, and all relevant electrical connectors/harness pigtails from the donor chassis.
For an E30/E36 swap, you'd have all the parts you needed from the donor chassis for further modification to power the new swap car. This is one-stop shopping, no need to try and find another parts car for the little things you need for the swap. We've built several S54 E36s and can provide the balance of new parts and services you need to get the car running as well at additional cost.
This engine comes with no surprises and has been compression tested. The engine started and powered the vehicle prior to disassembly. Rod bearings were replaced under BMW recall and preventative maintenance was performed including the VANOS rod bolts.
