I was wondering who bought this car. Was in a major accident so I passed on it. I was the first person to check it out even!

Depending on the age of the car, especially older cars, owners just fix it at a shop, or them selves with their own money therefore it goes unreported to carfax. Usually, insurance companies or dealerships are the one reporting, not people like me and you... Just my 2cents :-)

If there's no major accident, why are you parting it out?

Please don't take this as "crapping on your sale" but I can't see offers north of $2000 for a US bumpered kit with warped sideskirts that will likely never be straight again do to the nature of the plastic used in construction, along with the broken locking tabs/feet on the rear quarter panel side panels. The front valance also appears to be broken from road impacts and sagging, warped from being left to hang with broken mounting hardware for a long time.

The sheet metal valance behind the MT2 valance is pretty badly pushed in, which likely ripped off some of the MT2 valance mounting tabs in process. They are not very robust and break easily.

I think you would be better off selling the car as a whole as is, or removing the kit and carefully looking at each piece to best represent what you have.

Take a look at your driver side fender and look at the VIN number. Its a replacement fender. Even better, they couldn't align all the fender bolts so there's like 3 missing. Carfax doesn't say much on these older cars, you need to know the tricks. I'm very particular with having all matching VIN numbers, but if one panel was replaced oh well. Now if a fender can't be aligned correctly I run!

Also guys, it needs a full paint job. Clear coat peal all over.

Ok even if you were correct why are you mad about it because you didn't purchase the car? I never posted the complete car for sale or had intentions off selling it i posted this thread for a "COMPLETE MTECH II KIT" not a complete car. If no one is satisfied with the prices or condition no one is forcing you to buy them. Any one is more then welcome to purchase it new from the dealer or somewhere else. I hate when people complain about parts being to expensive there is a variety of car makes you can easily purchase a Honda and your parts will be more affordable. If i don't like some ones prices I simply don't purchase them i don't sit around at home all day and complain about it.

First of all, I was in no way trying to offend you. You simply posted a carfax showing the car wasn't in an accident, and I figured I'd mention what I remembered on the car so you could know more about it. It looks like you seriously didn't know it was in one, so sorry for telling you. Usually, at least myself, people like to know the history of their cars.

Secondly, people are bringing up not parting out the car. We're not like the 2002 community who want to save every car found, but knowing the car did have some sort of damage is a slight relief on parting out a Mtech 2 for no particular reason, which is how you made it sound in the ad. That car needs a ton of work, and though its sad it may no longer not be a factory Mtech 2, I see your reasons for selling the kit.

                          No hard feelings.

No offense taken the car does need a lot of cosmetic work and for some one that will need to pay for repairs it will quickly start adding up. I can easily have the car restored but at the moment i have bigger projects that i would like to finish thats why i have decide to part the car out simple as that. Also the panels that appear to be warped are simply out of place because i had some already removed but decide to quickly install back so people could see its complete.Again as i mentioned I'm in no rush to sell as plans could change and i could decide to have it fully restored at any moment and keep.
