    Classified Forums Rules Update

The language in the Classified Forums Rules Announcement has been clarified. The second section, "Post the items information," has been updated. Changes are highlighted in bold crimson text.

Post as much info as you can. A price must be posted, as well as pictures of the item(s). Post as many pictures as you can, even if it is a common item. A picture tells a thousand words, but it can also conceal another thousand. Links to hosted galleries of images are acceptable, links to eBay and/or Craigslist are not. Once the item sells, please do not edit your ad to remove the price. Many people search through old ads to get an idea what their item is worth.
Also, the heading of the final section has been updated to read:

In case the point was not made, everything being sold must include a price and as many pictures as possible.

Please ensure your for sale threads meet all the necessary requirements.

    Thanks!

Excellent update! Thank you, agent. Many times I see ads that lack any pictures or real, solid information and it turns many potential buyers away.

Please don't delete price after things sell is the best update.

That was actually there before the most recent edits. ;)

There are still a number of for sale threads being posted without images, and/or linking to Craigslist/eBay.

Any ad not meeting the required criteria will simply be removed, and you may not be notified individually.

Yes it is. I think we've been quite patient, and we've been very lenient by alerting people when their threads don't meet the requirements rather than simply deleting them.

Folks, don't post an ad until you have pictures of your items for sale and know how to post them. It's just that simple.

For anyone not sure where/how to host photos, http://imgur.com/ is a simple solution.
