Late model license plate delete

This is a simple design of a plastic fastener welded to a screw. I was not able to find the plastic fasteners in any local hardware stores so I had to buy them online in bulk. So I decided to make a few extra sets in case anyone else was interested.

Clean look, can't even notice them from a few feet away and they match the OEM trim without having to paint anything.

Install: gently screw in by hand, once they are flush you're done. DO NOT over tighten its not necessary.

I found them at lowes. Were like 48 cents for a pack of two. Good idea to glue screws on it to hold in place better though.

I don't feel $8 is that ridiculous. I bought the plastics caps, I have to dremel and sand them down, buy JB weld and attach the screws. I have to get envelopes, stamps and mail it out. At anything less i probably wouldn't do it at all but I figured a few people would like to skip that whole process and pay an extra say $4 to have them magically appear in their doorstep......


Oh and like I said my local stores didn't have the necessary parts to make it so if someone else was selling these I would have been all over them ! But hey, I'm not a cheapo either....
