FS: S52 in NJ - SOLD

    Hi Everybody

I'm selling my s52 long block that is currently still running in my e30. I'm tearing the car apart again this winter so I figured I'd make a little direction change while I'm in there.

    -Around 120k
    -Pulls strong with zero hiccups
-It smokes. I pulled it from a track car that was driven hard. I just checked the oil every time I drove the car and added as needed. About a quart every couple thousand miles? Maybe more.
-It leaks slightly at the oil filter housing, which I just noticed for the first time when I took a couple pics a few min ago.
-It doesn't leak at all from the oil pan, which isn't included in the sale. Some RTV where it mates to the timing case solved that when the pan went on the first time. Has never left a spot on my garage floor
-Block looks dry. Never any coolant in the oil when changed
-Does not include the e34 oil pan but I'd be happy to give someone a spare e36 pan if they needed it with the sale
-No intake mani or harness included

I'm sure I'm forgetting some things so please just ask. I'm recovering from some surgery so I'll be at least a couple weeks before I could pull the motor. I can take you for a ride in the car to show you how it runs if you're a serious buyer. That's only good til they salt the roads, though.

    SOLD

A couple pics. I know my engine bay is a mess

Drove the car this weekend after sitting for quite some time. Fired right up and ran great.

What direction are you going? Why are you not selling it with the e34 pan/accessories?
              No antenna? I sell plugs!

I apologize, I didn't see this. My subscription to this thread doesn't seem to be forwarding to my email.

I'm not selling with the pan because I'm staying 24v and need it for the next motor. I have another s52 I just got in with less miles but I just got my hands on a really low mile m52 and I'm really tempted to boost the shit out of it. Just wanting to leave my options open. The motor needs to come out regardless because I have a lot to fix while it's out (new steering rack, steering knuckle, blower motor, clutch master cyl, subframe reinforcement, etc). I know most of it can be done with the motor in but these are so easy to disconnect and pull it's like an afternoon of legos. Just now to find the time and make the space..

For the accessories, I'm glad you asked. I came back to update that if I get my asking price it will come with all the accessories. Including:

                -ODB2 harness
-intake mani and TB (ODB2 - I'd also include an M50 manifold if I got my asking price - it's just painted a hideous read by the previous owner)
                -stock pulleys
                -alternator
-stock water pump and t-stat housing (I'm taking my Stewart from the motor that's listed)

If you're interested in the motor please PM me and we can connect by phone. I'd be glad to give you any additional info you want

Give me another week or so to see if I can't sell this as a package. Or if someone just wants the engine and not the other stuff

                      Bump.

I'm open to offers, especially if you don't need the extra stuff.
