    M42 + 5 Speed ZF Trans from 1991 318i 106k Miles

Perfect running motor and trans from a car that was parted out to finish another build not an accident car.

Motor runs strong with good consistent compression on all 4 cylinders. Setup comes with motor trans wiring accessories and sensors.

Located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Asking price $750 for the engine/trans combo - engine harness, all sensors, and accessories.

Videos of the motor idling and running:

They come with a Getrag 240. No E30 comes stock with a ZF transmission.

Thanks for the questions - I am a V8 guy so I was just regurgitating what the PO told me. I have this out of the car, how do I confirm what type of trans it is?
