The vinyl front is really nice and is just a hair off from the factory black unless it's cause the factory gauges are 20+ years old. Once in the dash and everything buttoned up, you can't tell the difference. Also these have a paper like backing on them. I got the Speedo installed on mine and I'm pretty happy with it, waiting on my correct tachometer face to come now. I did notice that with the factory lighting the new gauge face is a little bit darker. But you have to stare at it to notice.
