OK, so I might buy a '87 325is, wrecked. 150K miles. No motor, radiator, rack, windshield, front fenders, doors, seats, IP. The guy T-boned someone, started parting, wants to dump the rest on me.
Have: Nice 5 speed tranny, pedals, (perfer to sell as kit) rest of tan interior, side glass, door motors/regulators/locks, 14" weaves with shite tires. EXCELLENT glovebox, with lock, perfect dashboard, OBC, DIC. 3.73 LSD, "i" intake mani w/injectors, trunk lid (Alpine) with "is" spoiler, power antenna, pretty much everthing behind the wheel, except front seats. Rear is tan and in excellent condition. All in all was a really clean '87 "is"
In other words, your response here will determine whether or not I spend my hard fought-for tax dollar refund on a car I don't want, for parts I don't need, but as a favor for you guys in the PNW (ain't I just the man) so I can make a few bucks.
Cash only, local pickup only. I HATE shipping things, but you could try and bribe my GF. At your own risk...
All I want from this car is the rear bumper and surrounds, rack, windshield, sunroof motor/regulator and a few switches. And the damn heater core...
You guys can scam on the rest, as long as I break even. You guys know what this stuff is worth, so don't bother with offers, just yet. I am looking for responses to help me decide what I should do.
If I do this, dibs gets you the first 24 hours after it lands at my shop. It needs to be done, quick. In other words, if you are serious about a part, go ahead and call dibs, as long as you have the cash ready, and are ready to come pick it up.
If several of you PDX boys want stuff, I would be willing to drive it up to PDX in my Astro...but between you guys I need to make an extra $75 to cover my costs. And, you gotta buy me dinner at the Jerusalem Cafe...Lamb Kebobs FTW!
