It would have been nice to know that the gussets were no longer being used PRIOR to my purchase in November. Your own website still shows the picture with the gussets and doesn't mention that they are shipped without them.

Now, only after reading this thread, I am aware that the gussets are missing intentionally and that apparently there is an option to have the item made with the gussets.

The whole purpose of purchasing the x brace was to "increase the rigidity and reduce flex" especially since I this is an "absolute must have for e30 cabrio convertible owners".

You have an opportunity to correct this with me because I just purchased the strut bar and it has not shipped yet. I would love for you to contact me and ship me the product I thought I was purchasing (along with the strut bar) and I'll ship you back the "gussetless" x- brace. I do not intend on paying for the shipping back to your company.

This strut bar was the third product I purchased from your company since November...I would like to continue being a Garagistic customer.

The website clearly states the gusset issue. We do not pay return shipping, especially not on an installed item. We would be happy to replace the x brace unit with a gusseted unit, (even though the website states it should be noted BEFORE purchasing). However not if the item has been installed.

What do I need to measure or check to determine if the gusseted version will clear the bars as you mentioned above. I have ordered a brace.
