This is ready to go and what's great is if you don't have fab skills or tools to do the modifications to make this work this one is done for you.
Also no down time while trying to modify your stock knuckle.

The spacers sitting on top of the knuckle are the steering rack spacers.
The spacers installed on the knuckle in this picture are in the orientation for an e30 steering rack. Just unbolt it and place the spacers in between the knuckle for the e36 and e46 rack

- What you have here is a non airbag steering knuckle.
- The rivets have been drilled out of the stock rubber guibo.
- It has been replaced with an Ireland Engineering polyurethane guibo.
- New bolts, nuts and loctite to assemble the guibo to the knuckle.
- In the lower portion the break away bolts have been removed.
- The holes have been cleared out for small thin wall piece to make a tight tolerance for the new bolts to go through.
- In the pictures below the spacers have been placed to use the knuckle on a e30 rack.
- If you want to use this setup on a e36 or e46 rack you would just switch the side the spacers are on.
- the universal joints have been sanded down and shaped into a nice radius to increase the angle before it binds. While safely still maintaining a good amount of the original material.
- Doing this modification helps prevents any binding.

Setups I have personally tried successfully with this setup. - stock e30 stock non airbag column stock steering column spacing
- stock e30 rack non airbag steering column that was lowered 1/2 inch.
- stock e36 rack non airbag steering column that was lowered 1/2 inch.
