    Chipped 173 DME -- SOLD

    Sold!

    Hi All,

I have a chipped 173 DME that I ran in my 325i cabrio until very recently. Just pulled the motor to prep for my s5x swap. I ran the ecu and chip with stock injectors, AFM, and just a catback. It peformed well, but I can't tell you exactly what tune is on the chip. I'm sure some could read it for you if you'd really like to know.

I'm looking for $80. I've been away from the e30 game for a bit so if the price is really far off let me know. Willing to ship at buyers expense. Should be less than $15 to ship with insurance.

Is there much of a performance difference between this and a stock one? (noobie)

I've owned both mark d chips and turner chips and can honestly say that this performs very similarly. The increased redline is great and it's certainly quicker than a stock e30, but it's more experience than numbers really.

With a 3.73 or 4.10 diff in a manual e30 you'll really enjoy it, but I would still expect most any modern car to beat you in a light to light race.

      Hopefully that's helpful.
