    FS/FT: Getrag 5 speed swap

    I have a Getrag 220 that was in my turbo e30, ('98 e36 318ti / 98' e39 520) P/N 2200022598. This one bolts right up to my m20b25 & b27, w/ b25 single mass flywheel & starter. It was slightly modified to fit and ran excellent with 160k & shifts good!

    Update!
I have an almost compete 5 speed swap for an e30 m20
    - Getrag 220/5
    - XTD stage 2 clutch 210hp max w/ 300 miles eBay but it's free
    - Sach pressure plate w/ 300 miles
    - Driveshaft w/ upgraded ujoints (able to grease them)
    - Febi e36 M3 slave cylinder NEW
    - Febi large guibo NEW

    $300

The the tip of the output shaft was shaved a few millimeters to clear from touching by the previous owner. Just the tip was taken down slightly not the splined part. It was on my turbo m20 and held great, 312hp.

Definitely interested, which other parts do I need to source? I have the early pedal box but that's it, thanks!

Small bits really main one is the clutch pedal assembly, which you have already. The rest you usually replace and are easy to source new... center support bearing(early or late model depending on your car), shifter, shifter arm, selector rod and last a new bearing for the clutch that's pretty much it I believe

I've already got a Getrag 260, would you be willing to sell the parts minus the gearbox?

None of this fits your 260.

                      Couple questions:
So and unmodified e30 (edit: manual) driveshaft is the correct length to fit this setup?

Also, (edit: I saw this is paired with a 3.45 diff in the 318ti). What diff did you run and how high did it r3v during high speeds(freeway driving)?

First, there's a quite a few "driveshafts" available. Many can be mixed and matched. This driveshaft is from the 318ti as well. All that's needed is the appropriate CSB.

Differential was a s3.25 I believe and don't recall exact rpms but it drove great!

I might be interested in this. My only concern is with my 3.73 and no overdrive that highway driving might be a little unbearable.
