1992 = No Vanos.. which can be considered good or bad depending on the person buying.
(Cars built in Late 1992 = 1993 Model BMWs)
BTW.. $1200 is a good price if you are selling the entire car but a plain long block non vanos goes for $400 at most. I bought an running 92 325is 5spd w/ 116,000 miles for $1000 although it needed the ECU and some relays to be replaced the price is fair value for a 1992 parts car w/ manual tranny.
Not trying to shit on your thread or anything just trying to help you adjust your expectations so you can sell it faster.
P.S. Also, the coil pack types make a difference in the value if it still has factory Zulspund (sp?) coil packs they will need to be replaced with good Bosch units which also devalues the engine. 1992 models were notorious for having bad coils that can also damage the ECU.Last edited by RobertK; 08-07-2006, 09:10 AM.Comment

valve cover, oilpan, afm and possibly a couple miscellaneous things that I cant think of at the moment. Downpipes would be nice too although I don't need the manifolds.Comment
