    E30 M-tech 2 Genuine Kit - No Longer Available

    E30 M-tech 2 Genuine Kit

Okay so I stopped doing these for a while because the courier refuses to insure them now unless I crate them after a sad case where one kit (out of dozens sent) got the spoiler damaged badly last year. To crate them adds $1000 onto the price. Not feasible, practical or affordable.

Because no insurance, means that I cannot make a claim. Basically, I pack it up safe and securely as always, but if something gets damaged. One kit getting damaged in five years isn't a bad ratio, but the chance is there.
Because I cannot make a claim, it leaves me vulnerable to a claim-back by a buyer. So, the story is, you have to pay by WU, International Bank Transfer, or paypal gift (a function not available on every account, only some). If you're thinking "why is he not prepared to take the risk?" - I get enough claims on other parts when I have means to recover, and don't need any more, I've no time to deal with it, and I can get the same price for this kit locally but I do prefer to deal with you in the US. You are a nicer bunch, and I am half Yankee after all.
There is an element of trust. That you can alleviate by looking me/ my profile up, see the feedback on here, check this username on other forums, check the website and facebook pages out. There is also an element of risk - that one you have to take on.
If you can overcome the small risk, are willing to trust me and pay by one of the above methods, then the price is $2750 (Firm).

If there are any questions, just PM me. Please no rants - I am genuinely trying to help get you kits across but if people mess me about I will just stop altogether. There is NO option for insurance so don't bug me about it.

Kit is in good order with all the tabs intact on the pod pieces, and the front lower section is fairly good - usually these are scraped up and gouged underneath.
It will come with some of the clips and brackets and widgets but you may want to invest in a new set of clips from the dealers anyway.
    WYSIWYG.
$2750 shipped to non remote USA or Canada. Slightly more if you live anywhere you measure distance to neighbours in miles.

    List Date: 7/22/2016

I'd also like to make a point of saying that I hate Panjo. It's completely killed the BF.c classifieds for me already, and now that it's here they want nearly $200 for the privilege of using their (cumbersome) services. Think we were just fine with normal threads before.

That would be Panjo's motive, certainly, but how does it benefit r3v?

It brings R3V money as well, 50% of the fees, I read somewhere, probably that thread posted above. A donation facility would have worked as well. It's a good idea in theory, just not very nice in the interface level. Unfortunately I've seen similar classifieds things kill off sections, the Alfa Romeo UK one springs to mind as completely unfathomable and thereby dead.
Anyway, not the place to discuss it! Anyone want some old plastic bits for an old rusty car that people in SUVs can't see?

                            $500 Mounting hardware?

You mean like the bumper brackets (included)? Or the side pod clips (included)? Or the side skirt support clips (included)?

Yes there are repairs needed, but as for "$500 mounting hardware" ... maybe not. Although feel free to buy a whole new set if you want the car to look pristine when done.

PS the tow eye covers missing in the pictures are also included.

I ended up buying a kit with none of the hardware included. After going through cost comparisons with several vendors, the total was somewhere in the $450 range. I did not mean to imply that your kit didn't come with this stuff, just that it is a considerable expense when adding this kit to your car. Still worth every penny when finished. GLWS
