youre right, with one sensor, and a tube that wont work with your stock airbox.

Add an additional sensor (so if one fails you have no down time) to the tune of 80 bucks (yes they do fail), plus a custom made adapter tube (welding, parts, powdercoat) 120. Plus an extra air box top bored out to the larger MAF tube diameter ~30. Total ~230 extra from the purchase price originally, there is a bit more value here than just a brand new set up.
