E30 trunk organizer, coupes or sedans. PN 72601929409
Looks nice, rare accessory, not too easy to find nowadays. Part number 72601929409. It fits on top of the battery cover on the right side of the trunk. It needs to have a hole drilled into the battery cover to permit a quarter-turn plastic fastener. I have the matching battery tray and will include it if you'd like. The long straight side is slightly bowed inward. I believe it was designed to hold a spare quart of oil, first aid kit and a warning triangle. None of those accessories are included (sure wish I had them though). The lower fastener is also missing.
This tray won't fit any E30 with a battery up front (like cabriolets & early M10 cars), but any sedan or coupe with a rear-mount battery will work. I'm also told the M3 trunk hinge is too large, so this won't fit those cars either. I also have the matching battery cover for sale. I was holding onto this just in case a perfect E30 happened my way, but they're so rare these days. Someone else can have a chance instead.
