This is a new ash tray housing and insert - never used - never "ashed" in, that I stealth fitted a USB quick charger (qualcom 3.0 whatever, it fast charges android). The operation of the door is unimpeded. I like to coil the cable and store it in the compartment when it's not in use. This allows your 12v socket to still be available for use while charging your phone. Charger is good enough to fast charge the phone while the phone is using navigation + bluetooth. To install, you just need to hook up the power and clearance a small inside section of the console trim (it is easy and will be obvious when you have the unit in hand, and does not affect outside appearance)
