"This urethane transmission mount fits most BMW's from the 2002 to the E36 (e21,e24,e28,e34etc). Some models require 1 mount and some require 2. The studs are 8mm so you don't have to redrill the holes. These mounts have 2 steel cups molded inside so they don't need any additional exterior reinforcing like the mounts offered by others. They are not biodegradable like the regular rubber mounts. These are stiffer than the rubber mounts but not too stiff for street cars. Stiffer trans mounts improve shifter feel and can reduce the potential of missed shifts."
