There is a lot of crossover between E30 and E34 fans. Maybe someone here is building the dream I didn't get to, Sleeper 525 with S54/6 and of course, the M5 cluster is the icing on the cake for that.

I don't know the miles on it, it appears to have E36 compatible plugs on the back, possibly one day I try and hack a harness and check. Maybe.
