Up for sale is the heart of my 1991 325i. This is a 2.7L M20 Super Eta built in 2011 by BimmerHeads. I estimate this engine to have no more than 6000 miles on the clock. I will also include, as a package deal, my complete turbo system with tuned ECU and all. This combo made 270whp at 9psi.
The engine is a complete OEM Super Eta bottom end that was fitted with new piston rings, main bearings, rod bearings, and rebuilt connecting rods. ARP head stud kit, rod bolt kit, and main bolts have been installed. The cylinder head is a BimmerHeads Super Sport head, ported and polished, with HD rocker arms and a 274 camshaft. The head gasket is the OEM BMW oversize unit. Sale also includes matching gray powdercoated valve cover and intake manifold. I have gone over the engine before creating this listing and the following NEW items have been installed: Gates Racing timing belt, Graf water pump, INA timing belt tensioner, new intake manifold gaskets, new throttle body gasket, new oil pipe o-rings, new valve cover gasket, new half moon grommets, new oil pan gasket, new oil level o-ring, new rear water pipe gasket, and new cylinder head exhaust studs. The oil pan has been modified with an AN fitting for the turbo oil drain.
The turbocharger system is budget built but proven to work without issue. This includes a tubular stainless manifold with custom external wastegate provision, T3/T4 turbo at .57 exhaust and .50 compressor, and a 35mm wastegate. A complete 3" exhaust system with v-band downpipe, two o2 sensor bungs, a dummy catalytic converter, and Magnaflow muffler is also included. Includes a German Engineering silicone intake boot with ICV provision, 2.5" aluminum charge pipes with silicone couplers, t-bolt clamps, front mount intercooler, K&N air filter, and Greddy Type S (old school) blowoff valve. PermaCool oil cooler with Summit oil filter relocation kit, braided AN lines, and oil pressure adapter will also be included. The plug & play Megasquirt ECU built and tuned by blueapplesoda (DMS) is included along with AFM to IAT adapter cable and M30 variable TPS adapter cable. This will work with your stock harness! Also includes Ford Motorsport 40lb fuel injectors with plug adapters, Ireland Engineering spark plug wires with DEI fire sleeve installed, and a Innovate LC1 wideband controller and gauge.
There you have it folks, a complete package tuned and ready to run at 270whp with potential for much more power with boost and tune adjustments! This system works with an OEM engine harness, no cutting necessary! With its current configuration and tune it will work with a stock fuel pump and stock FPR!
