Someone replaced the gauge cluster on my 87 with a 5k motometer... The MPH works but the tach does not.

Would this potentially swap over? Sorry, trying to learn quickly here and if this would work, the euro would be pretty cool IMHO.

Sounds similar to a situation I had in one of my cars. You have an, "i", right? the 5k tachs came in, "e" models, I believe. That's why it doesn't work. This cluster should do the job.

Tach doesnt work when SI plate batteryes are dead.
Its necessary to replace them.
