    SOLD: M20 Turbo (almost complete build), plus extras

    I have for sale all the left overs from my swap.
    A while ago I decided to do a turbo build on my M20, so ordered pretty much all the parts I needed and started the build.

    I was never really 100% set on the project, as I wanted a S50 or S52, and as luck had it roughly halfway through the build, I got a pretty good deal on an S50, so I took it and went for a swap instead.

    We pulled everything from the turbo build and it’s here for the taking. We never got to the point of testing the turbo, we pulled it and it’s been sitting in my garage ever since.

    At the point of starting the build, the M20 was the original motor that came with the car, it had roughly 210k on it, it ran fine for the 2 years I had it, it was not pressure/leak tested before starting the project.

    I bought the turbo kit from Laurent Motors in France - https://www.laurent-motors.com/en/tu...3_flange_450hp

    I bought the turbo kit for roughly €2100 EUR + shipping from France, all in I think I paid $2800 USD.

    The intercooler and piping are gone, and a few of the gauges I cannot find. If I find them by the time it sells, it's yours.

    I really just want to clear the space in my garage, so Ideally I’d like to sell everything as a package.

    Here is a list of the parts in the kit taken from Laurent’s website
    - Cast turbo manifold
    - T3T4 T04E turbocharger (Journal bearing, T3 flange, 450hp)
    - Internal wastegate
    - Oil line kit (feed ans return + fittings)
    - Blow off valve with its 2,5" piping adaptor. Easy fitting.
    - Adjustable Fuel pressure regulator
    - 440cc high flow injectors
    - Steel decompression plate
    - Manual boost controller

    In addition you get
    - M20 Motor (210k)
    - Stock 325i clutch (mileage unknown)
    - Getrag transmission (believe it’s original to the car, 210k)
    - Custom headers (I can’t remember where we got it from)
    - E30 Motronic ECU
    - Sard Fuel regulator and gauge
    - Sytec in tank fuel pump
    - Boost bypass adjustable controller kit from Pro Tuning lab https://www.protuninglab.com/maadtutuboby1.html
    - Air filter housing
    - MAF sensor
    - Cruise control actuator with throttle cable
    - Hoses
    - Starter motor
    - Fuel rails etc

    You’ll even get the Engine stand and E36 DME ECU if you want them

    I’m located in Naples FL

    I think $1900 for everything as a package is a fair price.
    Ideally I'd like a local sale, it just makes things easier, but I would like everything to go as one. However I will work with the buyer on shipping if need be.

    For now I don't want to part it, but may consider it if local.

    Interesting. I used to live in Naples. Why did you give up?
    1989 325i - 2.7i, Holset H1C, 60lb injectors, whodwho MS-PNP.

        Yeah, I remember as well. Well, glad to see you got a nice S50 out of it.

        If it helps anyone on the fence about boosting one of these, my M20 has been boosted happily for 4 years. Very underrated engine.
