I called BAV Auto and they said they could order me a mounting bracket. It would just come from Germany so I guess overseas they still make them. The Fire extinguisher itself is still NLA unfortunately.

Rob you are 100% correct! BMW classic does a shit job in comparison to Mercedes and are not even close to any American car manufacturer from 60's-80's.
Ive been down this road before so I never leave it up to them, I'm getting stuff for my E46 and E90 all the time.....10 to 15 years will creep up on ya

Idk man I started out with VW way back in the day and never had issues but it just seems as if their classic aftermarket supports them decently [emoji1742]waffles[emoji3603]. Bmw classic needs to do better, the community does so much to represent and keep up the marque and it seems as if all they are now concerned with are the new cars and clients.... oh and slapping //M badges on everything [emoji1748]waffles[emoji3603]

It does attach with that bracket! Check the front of your seat and if it has 2 holes approximately 8”-10” apart on the front of the seat bracket it should work!
