    iX outer control arm. about 1,000 miles on it and the inner joint started making a thunking noise. Replace the inner and you will have a new arm. $80 (These are over $400 new)

                Worked fine when pulled and stored indoors. Has a nice "BMW Remanufactured" sticker on it though I have no idea when it was put in.
