i am not sure about the price, thats y i said testing water, make me an offer if youd like, and as for what year it will fit, those are the instructions for it, so ur guess is good as mine :)mladenComment

If it was used on your '86, it's probably the older style 15-pin type--according to your directions there that'd be model #RS-AS14. Mine's an '88 and has the 20-pin connector, so it probably wouldn't work.
Can you post the model number of the reset tool on here? If it's for the later style, I'm still interested.1988 325ic AutomaticComment
