thanks for the feedback... I still have a new wood Alpina knob in my car, but I hope I don’t regret selling my backup.

This is a rare OEM “mushroom” shift knob I had recovered in OEM leather by Jordan aka “Stitched”. Unfortunately the plastic internals got broken and I am not going to try and fix it....if you want to buy it as a project ots a beautiful knob worthy of a restoration car. $55 shipped USA SOLD

Assume, that since the internals broke, it will not stay in place?

Not sure what the problem is...I could not get it to slip into the lock, but didn’t really mess with it that long...I guess there’s a chance buyer could get it to work as is, but I’m selling it as a project with no guarantee.

Can you post a picture if the 4 tabs are still intact?

Thanks. Seems like the tabs are still intact. I think the reason it won't lock is the 2 key slots inside are got damaged. Probably got expanded during improper installation. I recently sold my and don't know if I should go back to this style or not. It is definitely a nice one.

Yes, they are still there...someone clever can probably figure out how to get it to work and they will be rewarded. I might even pull the listing and just let someone take a look at fixing it for me.
