    FS - Knee Bolster / Newish 84-87 Coolant Tank

    Very nice knee bolster. Airbag style. Retrofits to earlier cars. Not fragile like the cardboard non-airbag version.

      how have people been securing those knee bolsters to the old style dash?
      i have one and cant figure out a good way to hold the part you see up

        I have the airbag one mounted in my car, it took some work but nothing too major. First I held it ruffly in place and marked where the lower steering cover hit it. I then just hacked off the cover flush with the cover. Then to mount it I used a knife to remove the foam material around the 3 mounting points under the cluster. I then slide three of those clips used for the speakers in, and just used 3 screws to mount it.
