- Getrag 240 5-speed manual transmission w/linkage and shifter
- 318i Driveshaft
- 4:11 Open Differential
All parts came from my original owner 1989 E30 Touring, shown in picture. All parts listed were connected to a 100hp M40B18. No burnouts, drifts, screwing around, etc. Items have 210,000 km's.
The transmission was shifting really smoothly when pulled. Shifter was tight as new, and was still running the original clutch!
The oil you can see in the back of the transmission is from a leaking shaft seal. $5 part, 10 minutes to change. Transmission is wet in photos after a wash.
I am building a 3.0L M20 stroker for my Touring, and have to use a Getrag 260 transmission. I kept my 240 around incase I needed it in the future, but I cant see myself using the 240 anytime soon, so I think its best to move it along.
Transmission w/linkage = $400
Driveshaft (Good CS bearing) = $100
Open 4:11 Diff = $75
Take it all for $500 CDN obo.
