There is a factory bolt on the floor next to the emergency brake handle. One bracket bolts there and the other bracket bolts to the center console. Very sturdy mount compared to aftermarket universal arm rests. I

The Husco armrest fits all E30 models and is specifically designed for the E30. Bolts securely to the floor using a factory bolt already in place.
