    feeler: eta power pack

Well, just put my newest head combo together on the eta, but the bottom end isnt fairing too well, so I'm going to go m50. Here is what I am including in the package as far as a bolt on kit for any eta motor.

early casting 200 head with heavly ported intake and exhaust ports, very minor valve unshrouding, polished chambers (no material removed) 325i valve springs, 325i cam. I can provide pictures of this head. I fell it is as far as you can take an eta head without running into a water jacket. The intake ports are I sized with the exception of the roof which has the thinest metal. Black valve cover with silver ribs included.

Complete motronic 1.3 fuel injection system with 173 ecu, wiring harness, all sensors, afm, IAC, distributor cap/rotor, plug wires, modified to work with an 87 eta 'car' side c101, but can easily be adapted to other years. 325i intake manifold painted silver, 325i throttle body painted black with silver ribs. M50 17.5# fuel injectors included.

This current head boosted my mid-range powerband over the previous one noticably, and pulls to 6500 rpm. Easily pull from m20b25s, and still get 28 mpg on 87 octane. Runs right on the heels of modded e36s (m50s) and able to keep up with many of the 'pocket rockets' out there. I estimate the output around 165hp conservatively, and torque around 190 lb.ft.

Local pick-up in tri-state always a plus, but will ship if buyer is willing to pick up the tab. I am asking 500 firm (+shipping) for all of this which I think is a good deal for the amount of work I have put into making this 'kit' work.

With this setup I ran dual mass flywheel and clutch, 2.93 lsd, stock computer, stock eta exhaust and stock airbox. I pulled on a stock (but perfect tune) 325is from a roll and stand. I'm running a 3.25 lsd, and i exhaust right now. Mad a nice difference. I have seen 140 mph on flat stretches and 150 on one occasion downhill.

Its a strong reliable set-up that is totally driveable, much better than moronic 1.0. I would keep this if my bottom end wasnt crapping out.

What do you mean the bottom end is crapping out? You are selling the whole engine? Or just the head?

Its just the head, intake, and FI combo for sale. If anyone wants the block they can have it, minus a few parts I am keeping. My block has around 400k miles on it. The head/intake combo has much less and is in great shape.

I started with a decent running motor. No ring ridge, but number one started wearing out a bit, and the pistons have been slapping a lot when cold, its also started to burn some oil. The head has new valve seals and the valves have no play in guides. I was thinking of getting a lower milage 2.7 block, but decided I wanted to go more modern.

Yea, it will work, just have to do a little wiring since your car has a rectangular c101 and this harness is from an 89 it uses a round plug. I put an 89 harness in an 84 318 with a motor swap, so I can let anyone know what wiring they need.
