FS: Manual IX Transmission and Other Parts

I have a manual transmission and transfer case off of an 88' IX that had a timing belt snap. I believe it has about 180k miles. It doesn't look the cleanest, but the previous owner of the car tells me it was in working order.

I also have some other IX parts like front and rear driveshafts, front axles, front diff, and a lot of other random parts. PM me and I'll send some photos over and you can make an offer.

All of the parts are located in Stamford, CT: about 45 minutes out of NYC. Local buyers only for the time being.

Why would you tear apart an ix instead of dropping a new motor in there? Was she completely rusted? Cars like a unicorn can’t find any IX for sale.

That’s exactly what I did. The car was super clean so I took the engine and tranny out of my horribly rusted IX with less miles, refreshed the engine and dropped it into the clean shell. Here are some photos. Boots are shot on the CVs.
