This car showed up at my local junkyard. I removed the engine in Sept 2017. The engine has been sitting in my garage ever since. I have made no attempt to start it. I intended to swap it into a 318ti, but I have gone with a M54 I got for free instead. I thought about keeping it as a spare for my M52 swapped E30, but I need to free up some space in my garage.
