          Cobalt Blau?

I'd be very wary of a cheap E34 M5. There's nothing remotely cheap about S38s or Getrag 280s..Heck, anything with ///M on it.

            This is true!

If that is factory paint, and the engine is in good health, I would say it is a great price...
But not as good as the lucky bastard that snagged this car - http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BMW-M...QQcmdZViewItem
The second red/black E34 that I am pissed about missing... Grrrrrr

That car has been on ebay more than once...The body is the thing that would bother me.

Also, with that kind of mileage I'm wondering why the block is painted blue. Reminds me of a Korman job, and being in Raleigh...that gets me wondering.

BTW, not important...But I don't think the contrasting bottoms are Granitesilber, looks more like Sebring, or even lighter.

I know... and I HAD to miss the time that it was offered with no reserve...
                Sigh.

The hunt continues for the right Red/Black M5 or M540

                  What about a M-Sport 540i? They're occasionally out there.

I passed up the PERFECT Msport almost 2 years ago... 46k, Red/black, 6 spd, clear title, 100% stock except chip... $15k.
I'm still kicking myself. It was a trade-in at a BMW dealership in Chicago, and I totally accidentally ran across it a day after it was traded in. GRRRR

Seriously I am picking up the next available decent red/black 6spd M540.
