    Feeler: Genuine M20 Hartge headers

Used, but in excellent shape. *Much* nicer than any I've seen in the states. Imported by a friend from Germany in his carry on luggage! How much are they worth these days?

Supersprints are in the range of $900 and they are a close kopi to them.

Just had my set jet-hot coated. I wouldn't sell them for anything under $750.On german ebay the show up and never go under 300 Euro in that condition and they still need to be shipped. Used M20 Alpinas go upwards $1200 and they are as rare...well maybe a bit more rare but I've never seen a set go for under $1200.

Is there any performance advantage to these? Or just the fact that they are rare makes them of interest....

                Thanks.

What did they charge for coating and how did they come out? Pics?

Man those are nice. I would say, realistically, worth at the very least, $300. I would put them on eBay. They might fetch up to $500 on there.

As far as the performance advantage vs. rarity.. the rarity probably makes them worth more. In reality, even the best exhaust headers only give you a few extra horses at the wheels on a stock M20 unless you've done a lot of other modifications to your engine.

That's the first pair of Hartge, Alpina, or Schnitzer E30 headers I've seen with an O2 provision. I wonder if the ones on eBay.de were modified? At any rate, installing an O2 bung is not a big deal.
