Wow-now THAT brings back some memories! Back in the mid to late '80's just about everyone I knew had at least one RF Punch 45. Those poor things got abused so much, but were generally very reliable considering the hell they went through. I remember one of the stores in the area had a demo room with one of these running a full RF speaker setup consisting of 24 speakers total-woofers, mids and tweeters all passively crossed over. It was amazing how well it powered everything. There is no telling how many of these the local car audio shops sold during that time. I think I still have a couple of the first generation Punch 45's somewhere, but they quit working many years ago.

That amp was the SHIT! I had one for some time, ended up getting stolen out of my parents' garage. Quality stuff from when amps didn't look like dysfunctional alien starships.
