I posted a while ago and just learned that my buyer is backing out (for reasons that are completely unrelated to the sale).
So I'm posting again...
Engine is coming out of a 1990 325i with 189K miles. Head was rebuilt 30K miles ago and a BMP 272 - 282 cam was installed. Water pump, T-belt, distributor cap & rotor, wires, etc. all done during the rebuild. Engine was maintained on a regular diet of Mobil 1 synthetic every 4 - 5K miles. Recently put in a new FPR and performed a valve adustment. The motor is very strong, particularly above 4K RPMs.
Tranny fluid was flushed every 30K miles. No grinding, whining, worn syncrhos, etc.
Includes everything bolted to the engine.
Asking $800. Located in Bloomfield, NJ close to NYC. Buyer must pick-up locally. You're welcome to test drive the car before the engine comes out.
