Andy (the guy i bought it from) was told the engine was in good shape and ran, but that he could not garuntee/stand behind that. So I'd imagine it is good ... If no one buys it soon I'll prolly end up keeping it and doing a stroker kit and turbo build.

Yeah I know Andy. I'm the reason the automatic car is missing the M3 spoiler and throttle cable.
He was going to take the front end off the manual car and restore it with parts from the auto. I told him he would have been better off just swapping the auto car to a 5 speed since the body was straight. I guess he gave up on it.

I would have been interested in the engine 3 months ago but I just bought a M50 to bore and stroke instead.

What are you plans? Did you buy both cars or just the automatic one? I know alot of local people and places to pick up parts if you need anything.

Ah I see ... Well when I found him he had the 5 -spd with damage and then a BUNCH of stuff from the Auto car, but had the Auto crushed I guess ... so i got the engine, lsd, windows, driver door, etc etc etc that he took off the Auto.

Since then I've had a new radiator core welded in and frame straightened (ran me about ~$450 and am driving it as my DD - still need exhaust badly though .. :) I love these cars...

I actually need to get a hold of Andy prolly after the holidays, he told me to swing by or something after its fixed... what places nearby do you know of to get parts and stuff? ... I'm in need of a new Oil filter adapter (part that connects to the block and has the oil cooler lines and filter itself) - European Import Auto has a ton of bimmers in case you didn't know already.

Yeah.. Just down the road from European Imports is Lamberts. They also get them in as well. I just stripped the trunk lid, hood, and interior out of a nice 87 325is for $150.00 and scored a perfect Mtech I spoiler in the process.

I have a 87 325i 4dr with the 89+ bumper conversion and Zender kit in primer grey and currently no interior.

I don't know why he had the automatic crushed.. That was retarded. It was the exact same color and a 2dr only it was an automatic and the body was straight. One weekend was all it would have taken to have the tranny swapped out.

If you ever need help with anything let me know. I have a garage full of tools and spare parts. I can do everything out of my garage except alignments, tire mounting & balancing.
