After inspection of the front seats, I believe these are heated seats. I've never actually seen heated e30 seats in person, so I'm just going off what I can gather from the ETK pictures.

Both seats have wiring in addition to the seatbelt wiring. There's a connector (or two together maybe), 4 wires total, two pairs that go to other parts of the seat. I really can't see what else they could be.

I used some shoe polish on them, but other than that I have no idea. I've only had them a couple weeks.

These seats either came out of an ix, or were in an ix at some point. You can tell by the way the seat adjuster is not straight to allow for the hump in the trans tunnel for the transfer case. I know this because I had to mod the m3 seat adjuster in my ix.:)

Front seats are from a cabio. They are the same as the M3 seats, just different location of the flip-forward lever.
