    FS: M-Technic Complete Interior, 4-door

Up for sale is a complete gray leather on M-Technic cloth interior. It includes two front sport seats, the rear bench seat, all four door panels with armrests, and two power window switches for the rear. This is a very rare interior and was never sold in the USA. The M-Technic leather/cloth setup was offered here on convertibles and 2-doors in 1991 and 1992 but never in a 4-door.

The driver front seat has been reupholstered with brand new leather. The rest of the interior is in good shape but does have some minor stains and wear. The passenger front leather has normal cracks but is not bad. The only detraction is the driver front door panel which has some discoloration. My upholstery guy said it should be dyed professionally or with a good product like Leatherique.

It will fit all E30 4-door sedans from 1984-1991; no coupes or cabrios. The price is $1,100 FIRM. I know what you are thinking: "I could buy an E30 for that price!" Yes, you can but the chances that it comes with an M-Technic interior is quite slim. If you were to buy this from Europe, you would pay way more than what I'm asking because of the shipping, duty, and high initial costs. (Ask me how I know.)

Shipping will be a little pricey but I may be able to get a discount through work. I obviously prefer local pickup but am willing to work something out. PM or email for details.

Located in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Way to crap on the guy's thread. Well done.

And even if it is the same set, and he was the one to have the good fortune to get a set way undervalue and can flip it and turn a profit, kudos to him.

                  *Sigh*

What I'm selling is a mix of parts. I purchased a complete M-Technic interior over a year ago from England, some of which was completely trashed. I kept a few things and got rid of the rest. I payed through the nose for shipping and duties, waited almost 3 months to get it, then was quite disappointed in the end to have an unusable M-Tech interior. I did purchase the interior on eBay but ended up paying over $300 for shipping. The pictures were not as advertised and a few of the pieces are also unusable. I had the driver seat completely reupholstered with new leather and had a section of cloth replaced, neither being cheap. Many parts of the seats were missing or broken and I fixed/replaced all that.

I commute over 100 miles a day and was planning to buy a 4-door E30 as a commuter and drop this interior into it. That plan went down the drain and I ended up buying a '98 318ti, so all the parts I got for the 4-door is now for sale.

All in all, I have over $1,600 into this interior. I don't think it is worth that much and believe my asking price of $1,100 is fair. I'm losing money on this deal, but for all the smart guys here who want to keep it real and complain about my price, I'll be more than happy to take $1,600.
